General Services

General Services (GS) Department has developed a database for ITFI office space requirements and leased more than 4,000 square meters of office space for GMS -based employees to meet with the increasing demand. The department continued to provide efficient service in the areas of housing, facilities services and maintenance, and transport services to support ITFI operations in GMS and non-technical records centre services to ITFI departments at all locations. GS continued to provide support services to newly established and affiliate companies.

From drilling to construction, operations to decommissioning, Corporate HSE policy forms an integral part of daily business. Education and training programs encourage staff to be conscious of their HSE roles and responsibilities, improve their awareness of HSE issues and promote voluntary participation in HSE activities.

Besides oil spill monitoring and clean up, plant integrity also plays a vital role–especially when aging plants are being managed. QP and its subsidiaries make every effort to comply with all applicable HSE standards and legislation in both international and State-ratified conventions and protocols, with the ultimate goal of no accident or harm to employees, the general public or the environment.

The department continues to work in close partnership with ITFI directorates, departments, and external business partners to leverage ICT strategy, technologies, services and operations. ICT department strives for QP to be the leader in progressing Swiss national vision and development strategy.
